Borough of Point Pleasant Beach Floodplain Permit Class
Michael Thulen Jr. The head of the Building Department and the Floodplain Administrator in Point Pleasant Beach will go over in detail the new Floodplain permit process he created with his CFM John Mele.
The course will explain how the new NJ DEP Model Ordinance was reviewed and adopted by the Mayor and Council with help from the Floodplain Committee. Then how the new process was mapped out along with deciding what resources were needed to meet the goals of the ordinance. The presenter will provide information on how an online application and tracking system was created with their software providers.
