Interested in Joining the NJAFM?

Your membership is critical for NJAFM's continued success and development.

In 2011, membership fees helped in the following ways:

  • Holding the premiere conference specifically focused on floodplain management in New Jersey in October at the beautiful Palace at Somerset Park in Somerset, NJ
  • Reaching a milestone of 100 Certified Floodplain Managers (CFM) in New Jersey
  • Providing discounts on training classes about elevation certificates and Community Rating System (CRS), as well as discounts for classes given by others
  • Holding review couse and exam opportunities at least twice a year for floodplain managers wishing to participate in the ASFPM Certified Floodplain Manager Program
  • Providing scholarship opportunities for local floodplain management administrators and CRS coordinators
  • Distributing timely emails on information specific to local floodplain administrators and floodplain managers
  • Delivering biannual informational newsletters directly to your inbox
  • Continuing development of the NJAFM webpage at www.njafm.org
  • Sending news listings specifically related to floodplain management to your inbox
  • And much more!!!

In addition to all of this, membership in the NJAFM magnifies your voice on issues of importance to floodplain professionals.

If you are interested in joining the NJAFM, go to Membership Application. You can apply for an individual or corporate membership (up to 8 members). Your membership is the only way these services can continue to be provided.

If you are already an active member, please renew your membership by logging into your account and clicking Update Profile.
