3-Day Engineering Hydrology (HEC-HMS) Continuing Education Course
(January 4-6, 2011)
Learn how to determine pertinent watershed characteristic information used as part of the most commonly employed hydrologic engineering methods and how to apply these methods using the HEC-HMS software package. Course Topics include: acquiring design storm rainfall intensity data, simulating hydrologic abstractions using the NRCS Curve Number Method, Snyder’s and NRCS’s synthetic unit hydrograph methods, dam breach analysis, river routing, and parameter optimization.
