ARRIVE EARLY AND PARTICIPATE IN NJAFM’S INTERACTIVE
MODERATED ROUND TABLE SESSIONS
TUESDAY OCTOBER 15, 2013
As part of the NJAFM 9th Annual Conference, on Tuesday October 15 at the Revel, NJAFM is hosting a series of four interactive, moderated round table sessions on the following hot topics:
COMMUNITY RATING SYSTEM (CRS)
MUNICIPAL STORM RESPONSE
These interactive sessions will provide a forum to talk over your community experiences during and after Sandy, discuss what went right and wrong, share ideas and solutions, and identify resource needs, floodplain management tools and best practices.
NJAFM staff members will moderate these sessions and compile a list of priority issues, questions and needs that are identified by participants. As a follow up, NJAFM will communicate the outcomes with relevant state and federal agencies and partners to obtain necessary information and guidance and in support of floodplain management professionals. No “talking heads” just good, interactive discussion!
NJAFM will host a wine and cheese networking event immediately following the Round Table sessions, 7:30pm-8:30pm
Participation in the Round Table Sessions is free with paid registration to the NJAFM Conference.
